About the name / number 355
355 was the college apartment number of Mr. Tola the owner of 355 restaurant. He enjoyed the apartment as a student. He hosted successful events in the apartment, which made the location become a destination for good hospitality among friends and peers. Consequently, he became attached to the number 355 and decided to use it for the names of some of his businesses.
Why start a Restaurant / A Mexican Restaurant?
Lagos was lacking the experience of going out to dine. Eating out is a lifestyle and must be an experience for the guest. The ambiance, service, food, music, creativity, and the people you meet should all contribute to an amazing experience.
The Mexican style of cooking is similar to that of Nigeria. There was only one Mexican restaurant serving Lagos at the time, it was a good option to be complimentary or an alternative while including more style, flavors and meals.
